Goggins Heating and Cooling, LLC was established by Francis W. Goggins in 1975. Mr. Goggins retired from the Air Force in 1970 where just before he retired he attended school for heating and air conditioning in San Angelo Texas through the Air Force. He and his family moved to Prattville Alabama upon retirement where he worked as a Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation (HVAC) technician for a couple of companies where he worked on anything from industrial refrigeration to commercial and residential heating and air conditioning systems. Mr. Goggins was one of the first school trained HVAC technicians in Prattville.

In 1996 Mr. Goggins oldest son, Al, retired from the Army and he attended John Patterson Technical College for heating and air conditioning and took up in his father’s foot steps working on both commercial and residential heating and air conditioning systems. He took over the business in 1999. He retired in 2007.

In 1998 Mr. Goggins youngest son, Roy, also retired from the Army and he too attended John Patterson Technical College for heating and air conditioning and received an associate’s degree in applied technology in the heating and air conditioning field. He is now the present owner, he too worked in both commercial and residential heating and air conditioning. The company now specializes in the service, repair of all makes of residential heating (heat pumps, electric and gas) and cooling equipment and also the installation of new equipment for residential heating (heat pumps, electric and gas) and air conditioning.

Roy now has his two sons working along side of him. Both too are also military veterans, Joe from the Army and Wayne from the Navy.

Also on our team is Michael Grant who has been with us for over ten years. He is our duct designer (he's been doing duct work over 20 years) and is a highly trained heating and air conditioning technician.
